- You may be asked to choose where you would like to search. Select "In the index named index.pdx".
PART B: ZIP file
Due to the large file size the ZIP file will take some time to download depending on your internet connection speed. Below is a table to give you some idea how long this may take, these times can obviously vary due to fluctuations in connections.
|File Size||Transfer Speed||Time to download|
|858 Mb||512 Kbps||3 hrs 54 mins|
|1.544 Mbps T1/DS1||1 hr 18 mins|
|10 Mbps Thin Ethernet||13 mins|
|44 Mbps T3/DS3||2 mins 41 secs|
|100 Mbps Fast Ethernet||1 min 12 secs|
Depending on transfer speed at your location and assuming large data transfer taking place during working hours, it is recommended that you commence downloading of the Blue Book package zipped file before you go to lunch in locations where your transfer speeds are fast to very fast. In locations where the speeds are medium to slow, it is recommenced the download of the relevant file is carried out after office hours or overnight.
To assist you with this activity we have included a table above showing time taken to download for various transfer speeds.
Please note, once the file is downloaded to desktop or laptop, there is no need for internet connection as all files will reside on the local disk and there will not be a need for downloading any further files until the next revision (circa a year's time).
Using a program such as WinZip or WinRAR extract the folders and files contained within to your own computer or tablet.
